What are the Sustainable Development Goals SDGs?
The Sustainable Development Goals are the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which was adopted by the member countries at the United Nations Summit in September 2015 as a successor to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) formulated in 2021. It is an international goal to aim for a sustainable and better world by 2030.
Composed of 17 goals and 169 targets, we pledge to "leave no one behind" on Earth. Not only SDGs developing countries, but also developed countries themselves are working on universal (universal things, and Japan is actively working on it.
